JANS Concept is a lifestyle trademark, that was founded by the fashion designer Isilda Pelicano, embodied in the creation of manually crafted textile articles - inspired by the techniques of Applique Art and Basting Embroidery, traditional of the Nisa region - ceramics, cork objects and aromatic products. Unique objects of contemporary design, manufactured in Portugal, inspired by handicraft techniques of Northern Alentejo, created by invited craftsmen and women, artists and designers, the new artisans.

The JANS Concept project, based at Herdade das Jans, in Barca d’Amieira, near Nisa, whose name is borrowed from a regional legend - the Legend of Jans - focuses on design, quality and innovation, with its tourist side being a corollary of this innovative trademark, inspired by the connection to the land, the work produced by successive generations of craftspeople, and preserving the memory and authenticity of the local culture projected in new patterns of modernity, principles that are at the core of its brand positioning.
